How do I apply for enrollment at SFCA?

The process begins with completing an online application and paying the application fee. Please click this link to be redirected to our Apply page. Kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1 to acquire a seat. First grade students must be six years old by September 1.

What is your admission testing like?

For students applying for kindergarten, we use a kindergarten developmental readiness test which takes about 30-45 minutes to administer. It measures developmental skills such as manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination, as well as cognitive skills such as counting and letter recognition.

We do require standardized test scores for grades 1-12.  During the admissions process, your student will be tested in reading, math and math computation.

Do you have book fees?

The cost of book rental or purchase is included in the tuition schedule. There are no additional book fees. Every student is expected to purchase supplies for his or her grade level.

Are you accredited?

SFCA is dually accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia (formerly AdvancED/SACS).

What kind of qualifications do your teachers have?

Our teachers must meet the standards for certification through the Association of Christian Schools International, which requires a four-year degree, as well as additional credits in the Philosophy of Christian Education and Bible. In addition, many of our teachers hold state teaching certification. Our teachers are born-again believers who feel called by God to teach in a Christian school.

What curriculum do you use?

After careful evaluation, we have chosen the curriculum from a variety of publishers. Please click here for a listing of courses and curriculum for the appropriate school level (Elementary School, Middle School, High School).
